Vegetarian lentil burgers with black olive paste


  • buns
  • lettuce
  • vegan cream combined with tablespoon of vegan mayonnaise
  • natural ketchup
  • 300 g red lentils
  • 1 teaspoon of curry
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs + to bread burgers
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 large carrot
  • Olives Black Sliced OLE!
  • salt and pepper

Rinse the lentil and cook in salted water for around 10 minutes, regularly checking that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Peel the carrot and grate on the large shredding holes. Chop the onion and fry it on oil. Add the carrot and the garlic clove.
Fry the vegetables until soft. Add cooked lentils and stir. Season to your liking. Blend the olives and add them.
Set aside to cool down. Add breadcrumbs and egg. Form the patties and roll them around in the breadcrumbs.
Fry both sides in a slightly greased pan. Cut the buns in half and spread with the cream combined with your favourite herbs and garlic (optional).
Add lettuce, your favourite vegetables, and lentil patties.
