Pouches with spinach, feta and mushrooms
– puff pastry
– 1 onion
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1 package of fresh spinach
– a package of feta or salad cheese
– marinated mushrooms OLE!
– black sesame for sprinkling (can be herbs or white sesame instead)
– 1 egg
Chop the onion and cook it in butter or oil. Add chopped garlic and spinach. Sauté until the leaves are slightly soft. Cool it. Cut the sheet of dough into rectangles (along the short side). Place the cooled spinach, feta and mushrooms in the middle of each piece (you can cut them in half). Brush the edges with the beaten egg and seal the edges. Brush the top of each pouch with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
