Oriental baked pumpkin with OLE! Italian Garlic in Oil


  • 1 medium-sized pumpkin,
  • 1/3 of a jar of OLE! Italian Garlic in Oil,
  • 1 full teaspoon of curry,
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pepper powder ,
  • ½ teaspoon of hot pepper,
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon,
  • 1 tablespoon of honey,
  • 1 rosemary twig,
  • 1 small piece of ginger,
  • 2 teaspoons of salt,
  • freshly ground black pepper,
  • 1 onion,
  • olive oil.

Peel and cut up the pumpkin. Add the spices, honey, olive oil, garlic, and grated ginger to a pitcher or small bowl. Add olive oil. Stir together, grease up a baking tray or line it with baking paper, place the pumpkin pieces on top, and add the stirred ingredients on the pumpkin pieces. Arrange OLE! Italian Garlic in Oil and sliced onions next to the pumpkin pieces. Sprinkle with rosemary. Add salt and pepper and bake for about 20 minutes in the oven preheated to 190°C.

Serve the baked pumpkin with Italian Garlic in OLE! oil and onions as a side dish. Serve warm with olive oil.
