• 2 cod fillets
• 200 g pearl barley
• 1/3 jar of Italian garlic in oil OLE!
• 12 slices of bacon
• 1 clove of garlic
• teaspoon of soy sauce
• salt & pepper
Wash the fillets and dry them with a towel. Season with salt and pepper on both sides (gentle, the bacon is already quite salty). Wrap the fish with bacon.
Cook pearl barley separately.
Heat the butter in a skillet, add a chopped clove of garlic. Add spinach and soy sauce. Mix everything together and season to taste.
Transfer from the skillet to the bowl and use the skillet itself to prepare the fish. Heat the oil on it and throw in the fillets wrapped in bacon.
Cook for about 6 – 8 minutes on each side. 4 minutes before the end of cooking, add the Italian garlic in oil OLE!.
We serve the fish on groats with spinach.
