Breaded Camembert with Marinated Mushrooms with Carrot and Onion OLE!

– 1 egg
– 1 Camembert cheese (e.g., for grilling)
– breadcrumbs (approx. 1/2 cup)
– grated Parmesan (approx. 3 tablespoons)
– salt, pepper
– 1 tablespoon herbes de Provence
Marinated mushrooms with carrot and onion OLE!
– butter
– 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce

Whisk the egg with salt, pepper, and herbs. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs with Parmesan and seasonings. Coat the Camembert in the egg, then in the breadcrumb mixture, repeating the process twice. Fry in deep oil until golden on all sides. Separately, fry halved mushrooms in butter. Serve the fried Camembert with mushrooms and a bit of cranberry sauce.
