Baked Baguettes with Thyme, Mushrooms, and Olives

– 2 half-baguettes
– 250g small mushrooms
– salt, pepper
Whole Green Pitted Olives OLE!
– Herb and garlic butter (ready-made or ½ a stick of butter mixed with a handful of freshly chopped herbs, salt, pepper, and 2 cloves of garlic)
– Block of yellow cheese
– Fresh thyme leaves

Additionally, your favorite sauces, e.g., ketchup, mayonnaise, or aioli.

Clean and slice the mushrooms, then sauté them in a tablespoon of butter, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cut the baguettes in half and spread the herb and garlic butter on them. Place the mushrooms on the baguettes, sprinkle with olives, thyme leaves, and plenty of grated cheese. Bake until the cheese is golden brown. Serve warm with your favorite sauces.
