- 500 g wheat flour (type 450 or 550)
- dash of salt
- 250 ml warm water
- 2 teaspoons of oil
- 300 g semi-fat cream cheese
- 1 onion
- 500 g cooked potatoes
- 1 clove of garlic (optional)
- half a teaspoon each of salt and black pepper
- 2 full tablespoons of Pastena OLE! – fried mushroom paste
Fry the chopped onion on oil or butter until it turns golden-brown. Peel and cook the potatoes in salted water. Cool down.
Combine with the cheese. Add the onion and Pastena. Season with salt and pepper. When combining, make sure that that are no clumps.
Sift the flour and add warm water. Knead the dough by hand (not too long). The dough should be soft and flexible.
Form the dough into a ball and wrap in foil. Put in refrigerator for around 15 minutes.
Roll the dough flat and cut out circles with a glass or cookie cutter. Add the stuffing the gently bring the ends together – you can sprinkle a little water on one part of the dough so the ends will combine easier.
Cook in salted water until the dumplings surface.
